OUR STORY
For the Love Of Outdoors
Winborn Landscape Construction was founded in 2004 by John Winborn. Today, our company is the culmination of John's lifelong dream (inspired by his father) to own his own business, coupled with John's love for the outdoors.
Winborn's passion for creating outdoor spaces started from childhood as his family traveled and enjoyed different outdoor landscapes across the nation. Experiences like boy scouts, backpacking, camping, and rock climbing inspired John at a young age to pursue translating inspiration sourced from natural landscapes and delivering them to the home context through landscaping and hardscaping.
As a company, we love the enjoyment that people can get out of their backyard; robust and artful outdoor entertainment provides spaces for families to enjoy daily and share with others when hosting.
John has intentionally decided to focus Winborn Landscape Construction on custom pool building - we believe that pools are the centerpiece of outdoor living space. Additionally, pool construction requires a very high level of craftsmanship. Our team loves the personal and professional challenge and the reward of performing with excellence in a competitive space in our industry.
We love building custom pools for the craftsmanship element, but we primarily build pools in order to make a difference in the lives of the families we serve. We stand out from our contemporaries with an industry-leading, client-friendly billing and construction process. We operate with the highest integrity in order to deliver a custom pool and outdoor entertainment space that your family can cherish and enjoy together for decades.

John Winborn
Founder, Owner
John Winborn, owner of Winborn Landscape Construction, has over 20 years of experience in the green industry.
John earned his degree in Plant & Soil science from MTSU and founded his company in 2004. He is certified with the National Concrete Masonry Association and the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute. John completed the Tennessee Master Gardener program through the University of Tennessee Extension in 2005.
He and his wife, Amber, live in Franklin with their three children. Their son, J, enjoys playing in his school band, playing both trombone saxophone. Their daughter, Haven, shines playing travel soccer through Tennessee Soccer Club. Their youngest daughter, Allie, is passionate about gymnastics and basketball.
John Logue
Project Manager
John Logue is a Project Manager for Winborn Landscape Construction. He began working in the landscape industry in 1996 and has extensive experience in both commercial and residential projects. John earned his Bachelor's Degree education degree from Cumberland University in 2000. As a native to Middle Tennessee, John is committed to giving our customers an amazing outdoor space. When he’s not working with clients, John enjoys Predators Hockey, baseball and spending time with his wife, Emily, and two children. His son, Caz, excels as a triple-sport athlete, playing baseball, basketball, and soccer. His daughter, Zane, competes regionally in volleyball.
